The King Valley lays on a feast of things to see, taste and do over the Queen’s Birthday weekend.
The air might be chilly, but the welcome is very warm, as the winemaking families of the region invite you in.
At their cellar doors, taste the range of premium cool-climate wines – perhaps a Sangiovese, or a Nebbiolo? In the King Valley, the person pouring your wine very likely had a hand in making it.
They’ll fill you up with hearty fare, sharing the winter bounty of apples, olives and chestnuts, and locally made bread, cheese and salami. Your festival ticket gives you access to 10 participating wineries, special festival menus, and a tasting glass to take home.
There will be live music and activities for the children, and along with the King Valley Art Show happening on this weekend too, there is truly a feast for all the senses.
Your festival ticket is valid across both days, and includes a tasting glass to take home.
Children (under 18yo) free.
