River Park. The river eventually travels through to Werribee South Market Gardens, past the K Road Cliffs, where it meets Port Phillip Bay.

Ancient River Red Gums line the banks and the ever-elusive Platypus also calls Werribee River home. You will see an abundance of birdlife all along the river and you can’t help but hear the birds; cheeky kookaburras, cockatoos and the quarrelsome honeyeater. If you are very quiet, you might also spot wallabies in the woodlands of Werribee River Park.

If you are looking for a family adventure, a great place to start is in Werribee City Centre where you can grab a coffee and head to Wyndham Park, with playgrounds and picnic areas on the banks of the river.
