Celebrating its tenth year, the Blairgowrie Yacht Squadron Easter Art Show is on once again over the Easter long weekend. Proudly sponsored by hockingstuart Blairgowrie, the show raises funds for the Blairgowrie Yacht Squadron rescue boat fleet. Artists from Melbourne, the Mornington and Bellarine Peninsula’s will have their finest works exhibited and for sale at the yacht club.
Feature artists this year are It Hao Pheh, Maureen Kirsch and Lawrence Marshall exhibiting, with returning and new artists, in mediums from painting to photography and sculpture. A silent auction runs throughout the duration of the show with lifestyle experiences, products and vouchers from local retailers.
The art show runs through the Easter weekend, 10:00am to 5:00pm, Saturday and Sunday, and 10:00am to 2:00pm Easter Monday.
Visitors to the art show are welcome to stay on and enjoy the Blairgowrie Yacht Squadron bistro and deck with stunning views of the bay. Entry to the show from Saturday to Monday is $5 to be paid at the door.
