Fusing spectacular settings with the silver screen, Melbourne’s beloved Barefoot Cinema is back for the 2019/20 summer.

This year the season kicks off its first venue at the Quarantine Station Parade Ground in the Point Nepean National Park in Portsea from Boxing Day, 26 December until 7 January 2020.

Barefoot Cinema will host over 40 evening screenings with the program consisting of family-friendly favourites, cult hits, musicals, comedies, and some of the best films of 2019.

Throughout the season, Barefoot Cinema will celebrate summer in quintessential Australian style by presenting themed surfing nights as well a special Australia Day screening. There will also be many opportunities for the perfect date night, including the chick flick for Valentine’s Day to get the girls together or take that special someone out for an unforgettable night under the star-studded sky.

Offering so much more than just a movie, Barefoot Cinema invites you to relax, absorb the spectacular views and ambience and experience a memorable summer evening complete with pre-show live music and tasty treats from the food trucks and candy bar.
