The stunning gardens at Mont De Lancey are a wonderful combination of original 1880's plantings and landscaping, as well as faithful restorations modelled on a wealth of historic photos.
The self-guided tour of the property takes visitors to the 100 plus year old oak and olive trees, beautiful rose garden which comes into bloom around November and the restored formal garden around the historic homestead. This amazing garden is further enhanced by fantastic views of the Yarra Valley, Mount Donna Buang and the Steels Ranges. Visitors are then welcome to browse the extensive Museum.

Guided tours take you through the Pioneer Homestead - this 1880’s homestead is furnished with items from the homes of descendants of the pioneer Families. The timber slab kitchen contains many household items of the era. Plus they have their own Blacksmiths shop, woodturning and vintage machinery.

Whether it be the rich rustic colours of autumn or come spring it's blossom time, the white and pink of the flowering cherries and the purple of the lilacs make a stunning setting.
